In relation to the recent death of a fan, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun appeared virtually in court on Friday. The Pushpa 2 actor was taken into custody on December 13 after a rush broke out in Hyderabad during a screening of his most recent flick. Additionally, Arjun has petitioned the court for regular bail, which will be heard on December 30.On December 4, a 35-year-old mother lost her life and her 8-year-old son was hurt in what resembled a stampede. The event happened at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre, where a sizable audience had assembled to see the celebrity. As Allu Arjun waved to supporters from his car's sunroof, the situation had gotten out of hand.
According to the police, this move fueled the commotion, which led to the murder of Revathi and the terrible injuries to her kid. Authorities further asserted that, in spite of being aware of the sizable crowd and possible threat, his crew did not take the appropriate steps to diffuse the situation.
After the victim's relatives filed a complaint, the Telangana Police opened a case against the actor, his security detail, and the theater's management.
The Nampally court confined Arjun to 14 days of judicial detention after he was arrested on December 13. Hours after being taken to jail, the Telangana High Court granted him temporary freedom on a ₹50,000 bond. After a delay in processing his release, he was finally released the next day.
"It was completely unintended and accidental... For the past 20 years, I have been attending to the same theater, and I have visited there over 30 times. An accident like this has never happened before. He had stated after being granted bail, "I should hold off on speaking because I don't want to say anything that will tamper with the case."
