After eight years of divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie's attorney expressed her relief and tiredness.
After a lengthy eight-year legal struggle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have legally resolved their divorce.On Monday, December 30, the former Hollywood power couple filed for divorce.
James Simon, Jolie's divorce attorney, told the Daily Mail that the Original Sin star is happy to have accomplished this goal. “To be honest, Angelina is tired,” Simon said.
Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt almost eight years ago. Since leaving all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt with the kids, she has concentrated on bringing their family peace and healing.
The vineyard feud between Jolie and Pitt is getting worse every day.
The former power couple is still embroiled in a court battle over the Chateau Miraval vineyard in France, even though the divorce settlement has been finalized. Pitt claims that Jolie sold the Stoli Group her share of the winery without getting his approval. According to the Daily Mail, Jolie and Pitt have both stated their desire to settle the dispute amicably through mediation or to proceed with a jury trial.
According to a person familiar with the matter, Jolie has "been trying hard to be light after a dark time."
