Guidelines for three-star and higher hotels, clubs, pubs, and restaurants were issued by Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand. The organizers are required to make sure that all parking lots and entry and exit points have CCTV cameras with recording capabilities.

Sound systems must be turned off by 10 p.m. According to Supreme Court regulations, outdoor sound systems must be turned off by 10 p.m., and inside sound systems are only allowed to play music at 45 dB until 1 a.m., the order added.
Prohibition and excise officers have also issued a warning to partygoers who consume excessive amounts of alcohol. "The establishment should not serve liquor to a customer who is already intoxicated and not in their senses." A person who is already intoxicated shall not be supplied alcohol, according to section 36 (1) (1) of the Excise Act. An officer told the Times of India that breaking the rule could result in punishment.
The warning also listed the consequences of driving under the influence, which include jail time, license suspension, and fines of up to Rs 10,000. A person's car will be temporarily impounded if they are found to be driving under the influence.
Bengaluru

All gatherings and festivities would end by one in the morning, according to the BBMP. After 10 p.m., major flyovers will be closed. Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be tolerated at all.

Mumbai
Strict vigil: On December 31, a number of public gatherings will take place in hotels, shopping centers, and other locations throughout Mumbai. Under the direction of senior police authorities, a thorough security strategy has been put into place to uphold law and order.
Warning against drinking too much: Since the Maharashtra government approved all-night New Year's celebrations, hotel owners in Mumbai have taken aggressive measures to guarantee partygoers' safety and avoid any unfortunate situations, especially those involving alcohol use. Establishments are urged by the recommendation to make sure inebriated patrons get home safely, which may entail assigning designated drivers or setting up alternate modes of transportation.
Terrace parties: In Mumbai, music-filled terrace parties are allowed till midnight as long as noise levels are maintained. After midnight, parties can go on without music or interruptions. Police will keep an eye on terrace parties and other locations where young people congregate and may result in drug usage or other regrettable events.
