Elections in Jharkhand: Amit Shah added that nobody can halt the Uniform Civil Code's (UCC) implementation.

According to PTI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah charged the Waqf Board with land grabs on Tuesday and said it was time to reform the organization and the relevant Act.

Speaking at a vote rally in Baghmara, Jharkhand, Shah also promised tribals that they will not be included in the scope of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), saying that it is "needed to check infiltrators" and that no one can block its implementation.

"The Waqf Board has a tendency to seize land. It has sucked up the resources of the people in Karnataka. It has seized land from farmers, villagers, and temples.PTI reports that Shah stated at the rally, "Tell me if the Waqf Board needs to be changed or not."

Additionally, he made fun of Congressman Rahul Gandhi and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren by claiming that both are against the Waqf Board's reforms.

Rahul Gandhi and Hemant Babu (Hemant Soren) say no. The BJP will pass the bill to modify the Waqf Act, so I advise you to let them oppose it. We can't be stopped," Shah declared.

Amit Shah also asserted during Tuesday's rally that if the BJP is e
lected to power in Jharkhand, "trainloads of illegal immigrants will be sent to Bangladesh."

According to PTI, he further charged that the current Hemant Soren administration was using infiltrators as a voting bloc.

"No one can stop implementation of Uniform Civil Code aimed at preventing infiltration in Jharkhand, and tribals will be kept out of its ambit," Shah said.

In addition, the home minister pledged that Jharkhand will become the most prosperous state in the nation over the next five years if the BJP were elected to power.

He declared that every rupee that the leaders of JMM-Congress stole would be given back to the country's treasury. “…We'll establish mineral-based businesses in Jharkhand and foster an atmosphere that discourages people from moving to neighboring states.

The vote count for the 81-member Jharkhand parliament is set for November 23. The elections will take place in two stages on November 13 and 20.
