Fans were worried that there wouldn't be enough showings of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is coming out in India on December 5 and the US on December 4.
Days before its December 4 release, Sukumar's Pushpa 2: The Rule, which starred Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, sold over 40,000 tickets in the US. Fans, however, were concerned that there aren't enough showings of the movie in the area to set any records. The movie's US distributor, Prathyangira Cinemas, allayed fan worries. A fan claimed that the Arjun-starring film had shows "nowhere close to them" in a flow chart that contrasted the amount of shows assigned to Pushpa 2 on Cinemark screens with Kalki 2898 AD and Devara: Part 1. The distributors wrote, "We understand ur concerns," in response to the fan on X (previously Twitter). With the release of WICKED, GLADIATOR 2, and Moana 2 on that day, the situation in the USA has somewhat changed. We're doing everything we can. We know just where to fit in, so you don't need to worry.
Fans were also reminded that Kalki 2898 AD and Devara: Part 1 were distributed in the United States by them. They said, "Don't worry, brother; everything will work itself out. We're already in the TOP 3 in terms of show count with 3.3K+ shows across nearly 900+ locations, which is a dream release for any Indian cinema." We have two weeks left, and we plan to reach even greater heights. However, anxious fans also voiced their displeasure over the fact that there were more Hindi episodes available in the US than Telugu.
