In just one day after its Sunday, November 17 release, the eagerly awaited trailer for Pushpa 2: The Rule broke numerous records. The trailer, which was directed by Sukumar and starred Allu Arjun, went viral on YouTube and lived up to the tremendous anticipation for the movie. The action-packed drama's sneak peek was immediately embraced by fans, sending it into record-breaking territory. Within 24 hours, the Pushpa 2 video received an incredible 102 million views in all languages on YouTube, becoming the third Indian film trailer to reach the 100 million milestone in a single day.Pushpa 2 now has 37.83% more views than Prabhas' Adipurush, which has 74 million views. On the list of the most viewed Indian trailers, it currently trails only Salaar (113.2 million views) and KGF Chapter 2 (106.5 million views). With a December 5 release date, the movie is expected to be a big Christmas hit.
With 49 million views in a single day, the Hindi trailer received the most views of any language. The Telugu trailer, which has received 44 million views, comes next. The Tamil video had 5.2 million views, while the Kannada and Malayalam trailers each received 1.9 million views.
Pushpa 2 became the seventh most watched trailer in Hindi. It has outperformed KGF: Chapter 2, which received 49 million views in its first day on YouTube in Hindi. With 58.50 million views, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki trailer continues to hold the top spot.
Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, which received 37.70 million views in Telugu, has been surpassed by Pushpa 2. Guntur Kaaram was previously at the top of this list, and now Pushpa 2's Telugu trailer has the most views of any South Indian language trailer.

Pushpa 2 is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster film Pushpa – The Rise, which was directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. Pushpa 2, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, will be available in a number of languages on December 5, 2024.
