On Friday, BRS will observe Deeksha Diwas throughout Telangana.

Senior leaders will serve as in-charge of each of Telangana's 33 districts, and there will be a variety of celebrations to commemorate the occasion.

Hyderabad: In honor of the historic hunger strike in 2009 that was spearheaded by party president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and was crucial to the creation of Telangana, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will celebrate the Deeksha Divas on Friday.

Senior leaders have been designated as in-charge of each of Telangana's 33 districts, and numerous activities will be held to commemorate the occasion. The day after returning from Karimnagar, BRS working president KT Rama Rao will participate in the Deeksha Divas at Telangana Bhavan at 4 p.m., where he will be taking part in party activities, including a motorcycle rally to commemorate the event.At NIMS Hospital, which was the focal point of the struggle for Statehood in the latter phases of the movement, the BRS will also host a "anna danam" (poor feeding) and other commemoration events.

Professor Srinivas Reddy was honored by BRS President K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday for his twenty years of devoted service as Telangana Bhavan's in-charge. With Prof. Reddy scheduled to depart for the United States, the ceremony featured a heartfelt and dignified farewell to him and his family.

To show their profound respect and gratitude, Chandrashekhar Rao and his spouse threw a shawl over Prof. Reddy and his spouse. The event included a polite farewell and a heartfelt embrace from the BRS chief. Prof. Reddy was personally led to his car by the BRS chief.
