Hyderabad: In honor of the historic hunger strike in 2009 that was spearheaded by party president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and was crucial to the creation of Telangana, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will celebrate the Deeksha Divas on Friday.Professor Srinivas Reddy was honored by BRS President K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday for his twenty years of devoted service as Telangana Bhavan's in-charge. With Prof. Reddy scheduled to depart for the United States, the ceremony featured a heartfelt and dignified farewell to him and his family.
To show their profound respect and gratitude, Chandrashekhar Rao and his spouse threw a shawl over Prof. Reddy and his spouse. The event included a polite farewell and a heartfelt embrace from the BRS chief. Prof. Reddy was personally led to his car by the BRS chief.
