Next week, PM Modi will travel to three countries and attend the G20 Leaders Summit in Brazil.

Along with South Africa and Brazil, India is a member of the G20 Troika and has been actively participating in the current G20 Summit talks. The MEA statement stated that the PM would present India's stances on a number of global issues during the summit, building on the conclusions of the G20 New Delhi Leaders' Declaration and Voice of the Global South Summits that India hosted over the previous two years.

Although the specifics of the bilateral meetings are still unknown, officials stated that the PM is anticipated to meet with a number of leaders on the fringes of the G20 Summit. Additionally, following US elections in which Donald Trump was proclaimed the winner of the presidency, this will be American President Joe Biden's final significant foreign engagement.

Although the Biden-Modi meeting has not yet been confirmed, it is rumored that Biden will meet with President da Silva to talk about workers' rights and promoting economic growth. On the multilateral forum, New Delhi is probably going to push for advancement on issues related to debt, climate change, and women.

Modi's trip to Brazil is a component of his three-nation tour, which departs Nigeria on November 16. The MEA stated that the Prime Minister will travel to Nigeria from November 16–17 at the invitation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This will be the first time an Indian Prime Minister has visited Nigeria in 17 years.

The PM will examine the strategic alliance between Nigeria and India and explore potential ways to strengthen the two countries' ties during the visit. Additionally, he will speak at a meeting of the Indian community in Nigeria. Since 2007, India and Nigeria have been strategic partners with increasing cooperation in the areas of economics, energy, and defense. Over 200 Indian businesses have made over $27 billion in investments in key Nigerian industries. Nigeria and India have a solid partnership in development cooperation as well.

President Mohamed Irfaan Ali has invited Modi to visit Guyana, where he will conclude his three-nation tour. This will be the first Indian prime minister to visit Guyana since 1968. President Ali received the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman during his visit to India earlier in 2023 while serving as the Chief Guest at the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with President Ali, meet with other high-ranking Guyana officials, speak to the Guyana Parliament, and speak to an assembly of the Indian diaspora during the visit. Modi will also meet with leaders of CARICOM member nations while in Georgetown as part of the Second CARICOM-India Summit.
