KTR is mentioned in the remand report for Lagcherla.

KTR

The name of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao appeared in the remand report against former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy, who was detained in relation to the violent attack of Vikarabad district collector Pratheek Jain and other revenue officials at Lagcherla village of Dudyal Mandal in Vikarabad district during a public hearing on land acquisition for the establishment of a pharmaceutical unit in the area. This is a new development in the Lagcherla incident that could have significant political repercussions.

Police claim that during questioning, Narender Reddy admitted to being part of a criminal plot to overthrow the Congress administration and further his political career under the influence of Rama Rao and others.
Narender Reddy was taken into custody by a Vikarabad police team at KBR Park and sent to Kodangal, where he appeared in court. The former MLA was questioned by the police, who also took notes on his statements. They claimed that a commotion was caused by at least 19 people who had no land in the neighborhood.

Hours after his detention, the police framed charges against Narender Reddy and submitted a remand report against him in the Kodangal court on Wednesday. According to the police remand report, on November 11, while the government was holding a public hearing in Lagcherla village, Narender Reddy spoke on the phone with the main accused, B. Suresh. Additionally, according to the police, Narender Reddy has called Suresh 84 times since September.

Narender Reddy's cell phone was retrieved by police for additional confirmation. According to the remand report, the apprehended accused admitted to carrying out a criminal conspiracy that Narender Reddy had conceived and that he had also provided them with moral and financial assistance.

Rama Rao visited Reddy's home later that day and gave his family the assurance that the BRS will support them and do everything in its power to ensure the former MLA's release. He said that the police were operating like Revanth Reddy's private army and that they had even barred BJP local MP D.K. Aruna from entering Lagcherla.

"But because Tirupathi Reddy is Revanth Reddy's brother and is threatening the villagers that those arrested from the village will only be released if they agree to give their lands, the same police allowed him and 300 of his followers into the village," Rama Rao stated.

Tirupati Reddy, in the meantime, went to the office of the collector of Vikarabad and asked about the occurrence. He spoke with Pratheek Jain as well.

Tirupathi Reddy later told reporters that antisocial elements had done it on purpose.
Aruna, meanwhile, protested by crouching on the ground after being stopped by the police at Manneguda while traveling to Lagcherla. She then met Pratheek Jain to have firsthand knowledge of the disorderly Lagacharla riot.

The Telangana IAS officer's organization called for harsh punishment for the attackers and denounced the attack. According to the group, such violent incidents will not stop public servants from carrying out their responsibilities.
