In Akola, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Modi makes a case for "ek hain toh safe hain" and charges Congress of treating states like "ATMs."

In addition, PM Narendra Modi criticized the Congress's handling of Babasaheb Ambedkar's legacy and urged the party to demonstrate its dedication to Ambedkar's work.

Election to the Maharashtra assembly: Before the Maharashtra assembly election on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took aim at the Congress during a speech at a rally in Akola. PM Narendra Modi said, "Wherever a Congress government is formed, that state becomes the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) of the party's'shahi parivar' (royal family)," accusing the Congress of using the states it governs as cash resources. We will not allow Maharashtra to serve as the Congress's ATM.

In addition, Modi criticized the Congress's handling of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's legacy and urged the party to demonstrate its dedication to Ambedkar's work.

"I challenge the Congress's Shahi Parivar to demonstrate whether they have ever been to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's panchteerth," Modi declared. Ambedkar's birthplace in Mhow, his home in London, Deeksha Bhoomi in Nagpur, where he converted to Buddhism, Mahaparinirvan Sthal in Delhi, and Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai were all designated as "panchteerth" by him.

"People of Haryana foiled the conspiracy of the Congress by following the 'Ek hain toh safe hain' (we are safe if we are united) mantra," Modi said in a call for unity, referencing Haryana's strategy against the Congress's purportedly divisive tactics.

"The Congress knows that it will only be strengthened if the country is weakened," he added. That party's policy is to set one caste against another.

Additionally, Modi attacked the Maharashtra opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, calling it a "corruption and scam of thousands of crores of rupees."

"In my first two terms as the PM, I have given four crore pucca houses to the poor," he said, highlighting the accomplishments of the government.

"I have come to seek your blessings for the BJP-led Mahayuti (grand alliance) in the Maharashtra assembly elections," Modi said in his plea to Maharashtra voters. Referencing the 2019 Supreme Court ruling on the Ram Temple, he considered the significance of November 9 and said, "This date of November 9 will also be remembered because after the Supreme Court decision, people of every religion showed great sensitivity."

Modi thanked the people of Maharashtra for their continued support of the BJP, citing their "patriotism, political understanding, and vision" as the reason.
