Pakistan is scheduled to host the Champions Trophy in 2025, but Team India has declined to visit the neighboring nation.
Every day, the Champions Trophy 2025 topic is receiving more and more public attention. Pakistan is scheduled to host the competition, but Team India has declined to visit the neighbor, citing political concerns between the two countries. While the 1992 world champions visited India for the 2023 ODI World Cup, India has not visited Pakistan since the 2008 Asia Cup. Additionally, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reported that the ICC had emailed them about India's refusal to travel.Aakash Chopra, a former India opener, too voiced his thoughts on the subject, saying that the Champions Trophy would not be awarded if Team India chose to withdraw.
"This is an ICC event, yes. The event has financial commitments from the broadcasters. However, there is always a catch: broadcasters won't invest or the financial assessment will be reevaluated if ICC is unable to guarantee India's participation. Aakash stated on his YouTube channel that "the money falls drastically if India does not participate."
"The federal interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi, is in communication with government officials and is currently awaiting instructions from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif," a PCB official stated.
Although Pakistan promised full-scale protection for the visitors during the ICC showcase, the official voiced his unhappiness with India's stance.

The official stated, "We have already assured the ICC of all the best security arrangements for all teams, including India, and preparations for the event are on schedule."
