Delhi Ganesh, a veteran Tamil actor, passed away on Saturday night due to health issues. He was eighty years old. According to a statement sent by his family, "We deeply regret to inform you that our father Mr. Delhi Ganesh has passed away on 9th November at around 11 PM." His last ceremonies are set on November 11 and his lifeless remains have been interred in Ramapuram, Chennai.Delhi Ganesh became one of Tamil cinema's most adored performers with a career spanning more than 40 years and more than 400 films. Well-known for his fluid transitions between a variety of characters, including villain, comedian, and sympathetic supporting actor, sculpted.
In 1976, Ganesh made his cinematic debut in Pattina Pravesam, which was directed by the renowned K. Balachander, who also gave him the stage moniker "Delhi Ganesh." He had his breakthrough in the 1980s, and although he had a brief role as the lead in Engamma Maharani (1981), it was his extended supporting acting career that brought him worldwide acclaim and admiration. Aahaa..! (1997), Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990), Nayakan (1987), Sindhu Bhairavi (1985), and Thenali (2000) are a few of his most famous roles.

Additionally, he starred in Karthick Naren's 2016 thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, where his brief but significant role was warmly received.
Ganesh also belonged to the Dakshina Bharata Nataka Sabha, a theater group based in Delhi.
