Financial Corruption Allegations in the RG Kar Case
RG Kar Medical College made a "local purchase" from AS Medical Agency in Rishra, Hooghly, to acquire respiratory medications and inhalers for the Chest Medicine Department for the 2023–24 fiscal year.
This company had no legitimate contract and was not an authorized government supplier, which raised questions about financial wrongdoing and the usage of inferior medications.
