They are not in the mood to give up the rights to Singh Is Kinng," 

As a tribute to his devoted following over the years, the insider also alluded to Akshay's future lineup of beloved franchises like Jolly LLB, Welcome, Housefull, and Bhagam Bhag. Akshay's legal team responded to Shailendra Singh's remarks by confirming his film rights and calling Singh's assertions about a sequel "entirely false." "From Jolly LLB to Welcome, Housefull & Bhagam Bhag, the comic franchises in the time to come - would be a return gift from his end for all the love over the years," the insider said.

No one else, including Mr. Shailendra Singh, has the authority to create any prequels, sequels, franchises, etc. for the movie.

When Singh Is Kinng first came out in 2008, movie broke box office records for Akshay, and its soundtrack and dialogue are now considered classics in popular culture.
